Frequently Asked Questions

What is your phone number?

Call Dale Sipple at 302-236-1273. The line is answered 24 hours a day for emergencies.

Where are you located?

1 Gainsboro Drive, Lewes, DE 19958. We serve Delaware, Sussex County and Kent County.

Are you available at night and at weekends?

Yes. Animal & Wildlife Trapping offers 24-hour emergency services, seven days a week.

How much does wildlife removal cost?

Price depends on the species, the access and how many animals are involved. Call 302-236-1273 and describe the problem and we will tell you what the job involves.

Why does trapping take more than one visit?

Wildlife is not removed on a schedule the animal agrees to. Traps have to be set, checked and reset until the animal enters, and Delaware law requires traps be checked regularly. Most jobs take several visits across a few days. That is normal work, not a delay.

Can you guarantee the animal will not come back?

No honest trapper can guarantee that, and you should be careful of anyone who does. Removing the animal solves today's problem. Keeping the next one out is a separate job: sealing the entry point, capping the chimney, screening the crawl space. We will show you where they are getting in and what it takes to close it.

Why is there a charge if you did not catch anything?

The visit, the inspection, the traps and the return trips are the work you are paying for, the same as any trade. We tell you what the job involves before we start so there are no surprises when the bill comes.

Will the animal be released or killed?

Our default is safe trapping, removal and release. Delaware law limits where some species may be released, and an animal that is sick, injured or suspected of rabies must go to local animal control for humane euthanizing. We will tell you which applies to your animal before we take it.
